About

The vision and principles of Sukūn.

The vision

Digital dhikr today is reduced to counters. Sukūn aims for something else: to make digital tasbih as beautiful, tactile, and conducive to contemplation as the finest physical subhah.

Not a better counter. A category shift: an object of sacred calm technology, designed to support presence of the heart rather than measure it.

The publisher

Sukūn is published by One Ace SAS, a French société par actions simplifiée (simplified joint-stock company), based in Paris (RCS Paris 979 062 452).

One Ace designs and develops digital products at the intersection of design, ethics, and technology.

Our design principles

Sukūn follows eight principles that guide every decision:

  1. Sacred first — no gamification, no engagement mechanics
  2. Calm technology — the app fades, the dhikr prevails
  3. Hand before eyes — haptic + sound + visual
  4. Beauty that invites contemplation — restraint, material, light
  5. Inclusivity as strength — accessibility, multilingual, ambidextrous
  6. Innovation through the platform — not through gadgetry
  7. Fluidity and craft — 120fps, intentional animations
  8. Privacy and trust — on-device data, total transparency
